As your County Clerk, I am charged with the responsibility to "serve the people" to the best of my ability according to the law. The many duties performed in my office affect virtually every citizen in Scott County. These duties include: titling and registration of motor vehicles, recording deeds and mortgages, marriage licenses, payment of personal property tax, voter registration, conducting elections and assuring that the records are maintained and preserved for future generations.
